Much has been written over the years in terms of the right type of training for everyone from busy mums, to elite athletes.
This article is a bit tongue in cheek and whilst looking through a collection of old sports books in a second hand shop (posh name for charity shop) I came across the little ditty below, which remineded me of the 70's growing up and being one of the avid readers of these books called KTG (Know the game) they were pocket sized encylopedia's that covered every topic from planting shrubs, surfing, to martial arts.
Being an avid supporter of these books meant I wanted to try everything especially Karate which was what we all though Bruce Lee did at the time! oh how wrong were we.
To the present and funny how old school stuff which we at K8 have championed for years and this book comes to light. The book covers everything from flexibility to sportsmans circuits and includes fitness testing.
Below are two pages from the sports mans circuits which may look familiar to alot of you, the other is a bit more advanced and maybe for the exhibitionists amongst us.
What it goes to prove with the sportsmans circuits is that old school has never went away and will never be a fad unlike many of todays fitness trends.
for the more adventurous amongst us, enjoy your bath!
